The company will upload projects on OpenVK in several areas: IT systems and products, tools and libraries for developers, and artificial intelligence models.

Among the available open source projects are the Tarantool platform for creating highly loaded applications, which is used by large companies to ensure the reliability and speed of their services; the StatsHouse data visualization system for monitoring; the VKUI design system for creating user-friendly interfaces, and other projects.

Sergey Lyadzhin, Technical Director of VK's Social Platforms and Media Content business group, said:

“The OpenVK initiative promotes the sharing of knowledge and experience between IT professionals and aims to support and nurture the developer community by giving it access to cutting-edge technologies and tools.”

Artificial intelligence models and libraries for creating them are also available on OpenVK. These include a model for speech synthesis, which allows you to give artificial speech the right emotional nuances when voicing text with neural networks. With its help, speech will sound natural and not monotonous.
