Moi Mir Social Plug-in Ten Times More Efficient Now

30 September 2010, Moscow. Moi Mir@Mail.Ru, one of the largest social networks in Russia has updated the functionality of its social plug-ins, which would give external websites five to ten times more traffic from Moi Mir@Mail.Ru.

Mail.Ru has announced a significant enhancement to one of its social plug-ins - the Like button (previously known as To Moi Mir) that lets Internet service owners quickly and easily get new visitors following Moi Mir@Mail.Ru links, and increase audience loyalty and activity.

With the new button, users can promptly share links to interesting information with their social network friends and instantaneously post their comments. Now the button does not need a pop-up window, making it easier for people to comment articles and services.

Thanks to a range of innovations: displaying the names, photos and number of people who have recommended the article or service – Moi Mir@Mail.Ru users pay more attention to links advised by their friends.

“Our internal research has demonstrated that Moi Mir users share links to projects with the enhanced Like button by 5 to 10 times more often. So, these websites get a tenfold increase in traffic coming from our social network thanks just to the enhanced button that supports the popular oExchange standard and is adaptable to any websites”, says Anna Artamonova, Vice President for Communications Services, Mail.Ru.

To put the Like button on any Internet resource, just customize its looks in the online builder and insert the html code on the website.
