ICQ Introduces Live Chats

ICQ for iOS and Android now features a Live Chat tab. A Live Chat can be joined by any ICQ user and allows for an unlimited number of participants.

The new ICQ now has a special Live Chat tab. Any user can join a Live Chat and participate actively in a conversation, with a total number of participants exceeding 10 000 users. ICQ already offers a number of Live Chats.

Live Chat offers all the features available in a dialog: chatting, sharing links and files of up to 4 GB and voice messages with speech recognition.

Inviting friends to join a Live Chat is easy. Each Live Chat has a dedicated link that can be shared on a social network. What’s more, iOS and Android users can add their contacts to a conversation. Both desktop and mobile ICQ users can join and participate in a Live Chat.

At the moment, a Live Chat can only be created by ICQ administrators. If you want to create a Live Chat for a huge number of participants, send a request at support@icq.com. It’s planned that Live Chat creation feature will be made available for beta testing shortly.
