ICQ for Android Now Features 3D Masks

To celebrate Halloween, we have created a ton of new masks: Horrible Pumpkin, The Death, Suspicious Alien, Creepy Clown and many more. ICQ users can try on one of the 17 2D and 3D masks, take a selfie picture or make a video call.

The video or photo of a user wearing a mask can be further enhanced using the built-in editor: a user can apply a neural network-powered filter, add stickers and text, creating amazing pictures or an almost endless variety of videos. One can then share the resulting content to a chat, ICQ Stories or on social media.

ICQ employs the technology that uses key points on the eyes, cheeks, eyebrows, forehead and nose for face tracking, and adapts masks to facial expressions and movements of the head. The feature is powered by the innovative face recognition system LUNA, developed by the Russian company VisionLabs, a world leader in computer vision.

The new version is available on Google Play.
